My name is Monica Magee. I have been an avid doglover all my life. When I grew up in the View Ridge area of Seattle in the 60’s we raised Brittany spaniels. I was responsible at a very early age for their care. This expanded to caring for my horse when we moved to Lake Forest Park. I have had many dogs in my life, including a great Dane, boxer, a bulldog, and my beloved Rufus who was half basset hound and half lab, who passed away a few years ago. I currently have three dogs.

I worked in the legal field for 15 years and have also raised 4 sons.

After the firm I had been with for 9 years dissolved I decided it was time for a real change in my life. I was tired of the mounds of paperwork, and I love being with animals. Just seeing a dog instantly brightens my mood. Spending my days caring for dogs is my dream job. I am an active person and love the outdoors. The decision to leave the law firm was an easy one: I get to be outdoors, get great exercise, and best of all spend my days with dogs! I started Doglover Dogwalk in 2004 and have been making dogs happy ever since.

Doglover Dogwalk is licensed and insured. Monica has completed the Pet First Aid course offered by PetTech.

In January 2008, Monica was chosen as the featured pet care professional for the Seattle area by Petsit USA.
